Hop to your hearts content and see how many points you can get in this retro inspired game. *Warning* this game may induce rage and is subject to updates in the future. (This is the first game I have ever created for a game jam. It's also my first official release, so please go easy on me I had like 3 days to make it.)

The Application Is a file named The Ball Game 2D.

(Just wasn't sure what I was going to call it, when I first started. Sorry if that confuses things, but the Zip file contains all the required data now and everything works as expected.)

Get ready, cause a story of happiness or madness, I'll be waiting=)

Fixed the visual bugs so now I can work on integrating the story.

I appreciate the enthusiasm I have a story of happiness and madness skillfully woven into what could possibly be the best story I have ever written. Please keep an eye out I'm just waiting for RPG Maker UNITE to work on my PC.

Well... if that's the case, then we may begin=)

It's a pretty solid flappy bird variant.
Nice that you implemented the browser version so fast. But because of the short time frame you have a visual error in the "how to play" section. WebGL has another resolution than your windows version so it's cropped on the bottom.
Besides that jsut please change the background. I don't know if it is just me but it literally hurts my eyes because it's so fast moving. And I don't mean it is bad looking I mean it is literally making my eyes hurt.

Thanks man I really appreciate the advice I love that people are interested and I'll make sure to implement the improvements next time I work on it

Made some changes, haven't added a story yet, but I did change the background.

Hey, I wasn't sure if you were still interested in playing Cell Hop, but I fixed the Visual problems and I'm working on adding the story right now.

Played on mobile and there your main screen is capped.

Before thinking about big thinks like a story try to polish what you already have. For example you don't "feel" the hit. If you wouldn't see the life's reduce you wouldn't know if you hit something bad.

Bonus tip:

If you want an easy but big improvement, make an online Highscore with loot locker.

It's good, but it need's a little of a story.

I know, I only had 3 days to work on it, but I'll put some more time towards it once my website is launched. However, I appreciate the feedback.

That's ok, you can finish it when you have the time.

Also you don't need to finish it in 3 days you can take as much time as you want.

I know the time restrictions just came with the jam I first uploaded it to.

Oh ok.

Hey, Gen C. I just figured I'd let you know that I just added an update and I'm working the story.

the concept I had when I first made it was a single cell collecting sub-atomic particles. This was honestly just made because I set a goal to publish something or quit dumping huge chunks of time into game development. Although, I don't spend nearly as much time as I used to at it, I'm very glad I didn't quit.

I love the name of this and how you describe it! But there's one problem, my WinZip trial has timed out, and now I have to pay WinZip to play, hmmm... Maybe I'll just delete WinZip.

Finished the WebGL version for ya my friend. I hope you enjoy and strongly recommend not pressing exit unless you're playing a downloaded version.

Ok thanks!
